Actors Arya and Sathya.

Arya made his debut through 'Ullam Kaetkumey' while Sathya was first seen in Amara Kaaviyam. Arya continued to act in films like Pattiyal, Naan Kadavul, Meegaaman and many others while Sathya has appeared in movies including Puththagam, Ettuthikkum Madhayaanai.

Sathya's first film, Kadhal 2 Kalyanam was shelved, despite shooting partially.

The star siblings are actor director duo, sons of Editor Mohan. Both made their debut in Tamil through the movie Jayam, which was a commercial success and critically acclaimed.

Ravi, who worked with his brother in the initial stages of his career in movies including Santhosh Subramaniam, Thillalangadi, Unakkum Enakkum, paved his way to work with veteran directors in Tamil with his exceptional acting skills . Ravi is currently part of Maniratnam's Magnum Opus 'Ponniyin Selvan', playing the titular role.

Mohan Raja has worked with top stars including Vijay in Velayudham and Sivakarthikeyan in Velaikkaran. Mohan raja was highly appreciated for Thani Oruvan, starring his brother Ravi in the lead role. The movie opened to a widespread audience and was remade in Telugu as Dhruva starring Ram Charan and in Bengali as One.

This duo are the sons of famous director, lyricist, musician, director Gangai Amaren. Venkat Prabhu started off as actor and has appeared in films including April Maathathil. His first directorial venture was Chennai 28, produced by SP Balasubramaniam, and the music was composed by his cousin, Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Venkat Prabhu always had a spot fixed for his brother in his films, Premji Amaren, who is an accomplished comedian, singer. He began his career as an assistant to music composer and cousin Yuvan, and has sung a number of songs in Tamil cinema.

The duo's latest release together was Manmadha Leelai, starring Ashok Selvan as the lead

This dancer trio are sons of choreographer Sundar. Prabhudeva, is considered the India's Micheal Jackson. Raju Sundaram and Nagendra Prasad are also accomplished choreographers. The three acted together as physically imapired friends in the movie 123 alongside Jyothika.

They have appeared together for a few dance numbers in Tamil. Prabhu Deva has acted in over 40 films, including Kadhalan, Love Birds, Ullam Kollai Pogudhey. He has also acted along with Actor Prabhu in Charlie Chaplin, and kamal Haasan in Kadhala Kadhala.

Prabhu Deva has directed films including Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, which was remade in tamil by Mohan Raja titled 'Something Something', ABCD, ABCD2, Vedi. Raju Sundaram and Nagendra Prasad have appeared in supporting roles.

This musical duo is the most loved in South Indian Cinema. Ilaiyaraja started as a music composer in Tamil Cinema with the movie Annakili. Widely regarded as one of the greatest Indian music composers, he is often credited for introducing Western musical sensibilities in the South Indian film musical mainstream.

He has composed more than 7,000 songs, provided film scores for more than 1,400 movies and performed in more than 20,000 concerts. Ilaiyaraaja is nicknamed "Isaignani" (musical genius) and is often referred to as Maestro by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London, amongst others. His children, Karthik Raja and Yuvan Shankar Raja are Music Composers, while daughter, Bhavadharini, known as Bhavatha is a playback singer

Gangai Amaren, a musician, lyricist and acclaimed director is the father of director and actor Venkat Prabhu and Premji Amaren. Gangai was taken from a magazine of same name which he read during childhood while Amaran is derived from a pseudonym Amar Singh which he wanted to adopt himself when he aimed to be a lyricist.

Silambarasan, known as STR-Simbu is the son of director, musician, writer, producer T Rajendran. Like his father, Simbu mastered in all these fortes and began acting at the very young age of 9 months along with his father in his movies. Kaadhal Azhivadhillai marked STR's first movie as a hero.

He is a prominent figure in Tamil cinema who can sing, write, direct, compose music. His quick-wittedness in acting gained him the title 'Young Superstar' which the actor later removed. Simbu has worked with top directors including Gautham Menon, Maniratnam, Vignesh Shivan. Simbu's latest release was Maanadu, directed by Venkat Prabhu. Vendhi Thanithathu Kaadu, Pathu Thala are the movies in line under shoot for Simbu.

Kuralarasan, younger brother of Silambarasan has appeared in a very few movies including Simbu's Alai. is an Indian actor and composer who works in Tamil-language films. He has collaborated with his father,T Rajendar and his brother, Silambarasan, in all his films to date.

Suriya and Karthi are actors predominently working in Tamil film industry. Their father, Sivakumar was one of the sought after stars in the 70s, 80s. After playing as the lead actor for many years, Sivakumar resorted to playing characters roles, and eventually stopped acting or the past few years.

Suriya debuted in Tamil Cinema through Vasanth's Nerukku Ner, in which Vijay had played his counterpart. Suriya had his breakthrough in career with Bala's Nandha. Fondly called 'Nadippin Nayagan' Suriya is known for playing challenging roles, including the hunchback in Perazhagan and anterograde amnesia in Ghajini. Surya worked with Gautham Menon on Khaaka Khaaka. He gained a pan India audience through his Singam trilogy with director Hari. He recently played the role of advocate Chandru in Jai Bhim. Suriya will soon be seen in Kamal's Vikram.

Karthi, is a leading actor in Tamil cinema, who made his debut through Paruthiveeran directed by Ameer. Karthi worked with Selvaraghavan in Ayirathil Oruvan, and continued to appear in Payya, Naan Mahaan Alla, Madras, Thozha. Karthi had initially worked as the assistant director with Maniratnam. He also appeared as one among the students listening to Suriya's plans in 'Aayutha Ezhuththu' directed by Maniratnam.

Karthi played as the cop for the first time in Siva's Siruthai, in which he played a dual role. His character as Theeran in Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru gained him accolades. Karthi was much known for working with 21 different directors for all his 21 movies. After Kaatru Veliyidai, Karthi was roped in for Maniratnam's Ponniyin Selvan for the second time and with director Muthaiah for Viruman

The other brothers duo include Kamal Haasan-Chaaru Haasan, Vishnuvardhan-Krishna, Jiiva-Jithan Ramesh
